
Sara Manwiller
Physical Therapist
Sara Manwiller is a Virginia native who moved to Colorado in 1995. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sports Medicine at the University of Virginia in 1991 and her Master of Science in Physical Therapy at the Medical College of Virginia in 1994. She is a Certified Athletic Trainer, Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Kinesio Taping Practitioner. In addition, she is an Ayurvedic Health Consultant, trained at the Chopra Center University in California in 2009. Sara specializes in Orthopedic Manual Therapy including spinal manipulation and Trigger Point Dry Needling, as well as treatment of sports injuries, Women’s Health issues and TMJ dysfunction.
Sara enjoys the challenge of figuring out complicated patients. She believes in making sure each patient plays an active role in their own recovery because “the only way you are going to be ‘fixed” is to own your problems and be a part of the solution.” Sara formed her own physical therapy company in 1998 and opened Jointworx Physical Therapy at the Edwards location in 2004. She lives in Edwards, CO and stays active throughout the year with biking, yoga, Pilates, weight training, splitboarding, and skate-skiing.
